Reiki Level 1 Class in Gurnee Saturday January 19th

Reiki is a very simple way to achieve healing at all levels: physical, emotional. mental and spiritual. In this class you will learn the basics of Reiki and learn to practice Reiki on yourself, family, friends even your animals. 

What is the Content of the Class?

In this initial one-day training, gain a thorough understanding of the history and principles of Reiki healing, become attuned to the Reiki energy along with learning to harness and direct this healing energy to people, animals, plants, and yourself for the highest good. You will bring home a comprehensive book about Reiki and the course manual.

We will talk about Reiki:

o What is Reiki? And how do you explain it to friends and family?
o The history of Reiki and the different levels
o How does Reiki work and what can it heal. Learn to give the Reiki “Boost”
o Learn the 5 principles of Reiki and the 2 Spiritual Precepts
o An introduction to the 7 chakras

Get Reiki Level 1 attunement

This initiation attunes you into the Reiki Energy and prepares you for channeling the energy
o We prepare for the attunement
o Receive Reiki Level 1 attunement

Learn Self treatment

o Learn techniques for self healing
o Learn Kenyoku (dry bathing)

Practical Table work

o Learn Gassho and Prayer/Intention setting
o Learn the table practice of the 12 basic hand positions

Upon completion, you will:

1. Have thorough understanding of the history and principles of Reiki healing
2. Know how to harness and direct this healing energy to people, animals, plants, and her/himself for the highest good
3. Receive the certificate for Reiki Level 1
